"The house is very pleasant and welcoming. The rooms are large, comfortable and well-appointed; the bathrooms, modern and efficient. The owners, Troy and Gretchen Avera, are a fascinating couple. He is a commercial airline pilot. She is an enchanting lady who lived many years in Miami and studied ballet at the Ballet Concerto Academy. The breakfasts are extraordinary. Fresh fruit, chilled natural orange juice, finest specially imported premium coffee and, how to describe the magnificent fruit-laden french toast? A culinary delight. The best I have ever tasted. If any of my readers ever visit the area, I strongly recommend staying at the Avera-Clarke House."
